Soukayna Mouatadid

Soukayna Mouatadid is a Schmidt AI in Science Fellow at the University of Toronto. She is a machine-learning researcher working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, climate modelling, and numerical weather prediction. Her research focuses on machine-learning methods and benchmarks for medium-range and subseasonal weather forecasting, as well as probabilistic approaches for correcting systematic biases in numerical weather prediction forecasts. Her work has been recognized with awards for temperature and precipitation forecasting in the Subseasonal Climate Forecast Rodeo II.
